Becoming a Level 3 Personal Trainer is the gold standard of the Fitness Industry.

It builds on the foundations of the Level 2 Gym Instructor course to dive deep into getting client results over a longer duration. As a Personal Trainer, you'll apply your expertise daily to design effective training programs and support clients in achieving impactful health, fitness, sporting and nutritional goals.

Our Level 3 Personal Training course has been expertly designed with your continued success in mind. We are dedicated to helping you become an outstanding personal trainer.

When you enroll today on our level 3 Personal Trainer course you'll get instant and lifetime access to a number of online programmes and physical resources. Plus you'll attend 6 full days of face-to-face training in our Milton Keynes Academy classroom.

You'll also get a physcial Active IQ course manual sent through the post. Once this arrives you'll have an orientation call with Hayley. This call will guide your homestudies and set out a personal learning plan just for you.

We'll also discuss how we'll hold you accountable each week to do your studies. For some learners this is via a call, for others it's via text or email. Either way, we're here to ensure you have the best PT journey out there.

Most learners have at least 4-6 weeks of home study prior to the first weekend attendance in our Milton Keynes Academy.

During this time you'll prepare for your Anatomy and Nutrition exams. We estimate that 2 to 4 hours of homestudy per week is a ideal.

Everyone learns at different speeds and in a variety of ways. That's why you get a physical manual, PDF downloads and online learning which can be downloaded to MP3 and MP4.

Homestudy must be easy and fun to complete. Meaning you enjoy learning and supercharge your knowlegde & confidence.

6 Days Face-To-Face

You'll join us for 6 days in our Milton Keynes Academy. This is spread across two long weekends.

There are no assessments on the first weekend... it's all about learning!

Each face-to-face day has 4 workshops where we'll go between the classroom and the gym.

There's very little sitting around with 70% of each day being practical based.

The practial workshops are not a test of your own fitness or what you can do. Rather it's a time to practice coaching and learn how to be an outstanding personal trainer.

PT Weekend 1

In the first weekend of your course, you'll build the basics of personal training, covering key concepts such as planning, instructing, and understanding the client journey.

The focus includes: consultations, fitness testing, and advanced Cardiovascular and Resistance Training Systems. Plus, you'll practice your instructing skills and gain a Level 1 kettlebell Instructor certification on day 3.

PT Weekend 2

In the second weekend of your PT course, the focus shifts to enhancing confidence and solidifying your understanding within the personal training toolbox.

Workshops in Core Training, Flexibility, advanced stretching, Periodisation, Training in Different Environments, Nutrition, Business, Advanced Warm-Ups, and Instructing Skills.

Between weekend 1 and 2, you'll complete your course portoflio and case study.

On the second weekend, you'll successfully wrap up all practical assessments, marking the culmination of your journey as a fully certified Personal Trainer.

Your Assessments... Of course you'll be nervous, we'd expect you to be nervous, this shows how much you want to pass. It's our job to get you ready, competent and confident.

Entry Requirements

To complete this course, you must already hold a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification.

Many of our learners complete the Level 2 Gym Instructor as part of our 'Master PT Package'. You can then progress on to the next Level 3 Personal Trainer Course approximately 4 to 6 weeks later.

It's good to have a reasonable amount of experience in fitness. That could be in a gym, studio, home, or Bootcamp setting. You certainly don’t need to be an expert, although once you graduate as a Level 3 Personal Trainer you will be.

The Level 3 anatomy and physiology builds upon what you learned at level 2.

Nutrition for Physical Activity & Health

Nutrition can and is a minefield of information. Many clients struggle to support their day, goals, and life with a sustainable nutritionally balanced diet.

It's the role of level 3 personal trainers to help, guide, and advise their clients from a nutritional standpoint.

Upon completion of the level 3 personal trainer course, you can officially call yourself a:

How you'll be assessed

The course is split into multiple units which are each assessed in a variety of theoretical and practical ways.

You will receive a learner achievement portfolio containing all the necessary worksheets, coursework, and case study templates for completion. You have the option to fill it out using pen and pencil or complete it online.

You can complete some of the assessments prior to the first attendance weekend. Some learners choose to focus on the studying before-hand and complete all the assessments post the second attendance weekend.

You'll get a personalised learning and assessment plan to suit you. Should you refer any assessment you simply redo it. There are no additional fees to retake any assessment.

All pratcical assesments are completed on the second attendance weekend.

How long do I have to complete my course?

Officially you have 3 years to complete your course.

However, we run a number of course dates throughout the year and the average learner time completes within 8 -14 weeks.

If for some reason you can't make a particular attendance day... don't worry, we can easily get you back in to ensure you graduate with no delay.

There are no additional or hidden fees. It's our job to ensure you have the best learning journey and graduate with 10/10 knowledge and confidence.

How long do I have access to my resources for?
